Char siu bao (steamed BBQ pork buns) is one of Guangdong's most representative dim sum dishes, and one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of Cantonese morning tea (har gow, siu mai, char siu bao, egg tarts). As the name suggests, char siu bao are buns filled with char siu. It's a traditional Cantonese dim sum; "have a cup of tea and a bun" during morning tea often refers to having a char siu bao.
