Benylin Extra Strength Expectorant Syrup works deep in the lungs to break up mucus and phlegm and help clear stuffy chests. This powerful, fast-acting formula thins and loosens mucus and phlegm so you can cough it out. Provides fast and effective relief of mucus, phlegm and chest congestion.

Each 5 mL or 1 teaspoon contains 200 mg of the expectorant guaifenesin to thin and loosen phlegm and mucus and 15 mg of the pain reliever menthol to relieve sore throats.

Directions: Adults and children 12 years and older, take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) every 6 hours as needed; do not exceed 8 teaspoons (40 mL) in 24 hours.
